Matao, Canada's premiere stage hypnotist is returning to Selkirk, June 24, as he hosts Time to Lose that Extra Weight at the Selkirk Inn & Conference Centre from 7 to 9 p.m.

The master mind hypnotist has been entertaining crowds since he was just 12-years-old and is regarded as one of Canada’s youngest hypnotists. He is currently Manitoba’s only certified stage hypnotist and hypnotherapist with a bachelors degree in psychology.

More more than 20 years, Matao have been performing hundreds of shows each year, not only in Canada, but around the world.

Back in April, Matao was in Selkirk when he performed his fourth annual Hypnosis & Hilarity Event at the Selkirk Inn & Conference Centre.

According to Matao, this year's show was extra special as it marked the anniversary of his father's death on April 6, 2013. His father died as a result of a hemorrhagic stroke and therefore, Matao has dedicated himself to helping to promote awareness for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Proceeds from his event in Selkirk went towards the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Since the inception of the show, as much as $2,250 has been raised.
