Teulon Ride In Rally organizer David Leduchowski met with Super 7 Service Esso manager Dave Mosher to receive a check for $500 towards this year’s event in support of Project New Hope Canada.
“I want to thank Teulon’s Super 7 Service for this very generous $500 donation,” Leduchowski said. “The cost of putting on the rally is covered thanks to the fantastic support of Teulon businesses.”
PNHC is an organization devoted to helping Canadian combat veterans and their families deal with the effects of PTSD an d other stress-related issues.
The Ride In Rally will take place on July 14 along Main Street. The Rally Poker Derby leaves Teulon on July 15 at 10:30 a.m. and ends back in town at 1:30 p.m. This will be the event’s third year in Teulon, thanks to Leduchowski’s efforts.
Everyone is welcome to attend the rally, motorcycle riders and all. PNHC volunteers will be having a donation breakfast on both mornings at 9 a.m. on Main Street followed by live entertainment. The Teulon Rockwood Fire Department will host a rescue demo before Selkirk-Interlake-Eastman MP James Bezan steps up to say a few words.
The games included are wheelchair and tricycle races, tire tosses, toilet roll games, motorcycle skills contests and more. Attendees can also look forward to live music, concessions and vendors throughout the entire day.
The street will be closed until midnight for a street dance party that will occur only if attendance justifies it. Organizers encourage guests to spread the word.
