The Ralph Eichler Charity Golf tournament is returning to the Interlake for the 14th year and will continue to support local organizations. The tournament will be hosted at the Teulon Golf and Country Club on June 15.

“Supporting local initiatives is a crucial part of serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly. The charitable organizations and events within the Lakeside constituency are indeed deserving of my support, as well as the support, encouragement and assistance of all Manitobans,” Lakeside MLA Ralph Eichler said, in a prepared statement.

“It is with this in mind that I ask for your assistance to make the 14th Annual Ralph Eichler Charity Golf Tournament a success.”

Funds raised from the tournament will benefit The Interlake Community Foundation and South West District Palliative Care. “These important local charities serve thousands of Manitobans in building stronger communities,” Eichler noted.

Tee-off for the tournament is at1 p.m. There will also be a hole-in-one competition for $10,000 and dinner. For dinner and golf with a cart, tickets are $125. For dinner alone, patrons will have to pay $30.

Registrations for the event are still being accepted and should be in preferably before June 10, SWDPC co-chair George Willis said. He added preparation for the event was going well and hoped for a great day of golf.

“We are crossing our fingers and hoping for good weather,” Willis said.
