According to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, the Selkirk Steelers Junior ‘A’ hockey club  and Head Coach Dustin Hughes have parted ways Feb. 12.

Hughes took the head coaching position towards the end of the 2016-17 MJHL season after he replaced Wayne Bartley.
 
Assistant Coach Nick Lubimiv has been appointed the team's head Coach. Hudson Friesen will remain as an assistant coach.
 
The Steelers have nine regular season games remaining.
