St. Andrews Pars & Power has been named Business of the Year.
 

Owner Brad Zelych was all smiles as he was presented with the honour at the sixth annual Biz Awards hosted by the Selkirk Biz (Selkirk & District Chamber of Commerce) as the Selkirk Golf & Country Club Oct. 19.
 

“I would like to thank everybody,” Zelych said. “I am just a small town boy who wanted to sell tractors...I would just like to thank my wife  for standing by me and my parents for the opportunity.”
Award winners
• The Beauti-Tone Visual Improvement award went to Riverside Grill.
• The Inclusive Employment award went to Gelller’s Year Round Property Service.
• The Brand & Marketing of the Year award went to Sunova Credit Union in Selkirk.
• Van Aert Farms was presented with the Farm Family award.
•  Joy Sul, who runs the Skinners Locks Market & Waterfront Market in Selkirk, was named Women Entrepreneur of the Year.
• Steeltown Ford was recognized with the Business Philanthropist of the Year award.
•  The Community Spirit award was presented to the Half Moon Drive In.
• The Customer Service Award was presented to Selkirk Mobility.
• The New Business of Year award was presented to Selkirk Mobility.
