Work to begin on Winnipeg Beach's Prospect street

By Staff/The Interlake Spectator

The Town of  Winnipeg Beach released a public notice June 8, informing residents work will begin on the Prospect Street June 12. The province will be mandating the work.
“An interim fix will be provided to allow for vehicular and pedestrian traffic,” the release said.
The notice added there was no permanent solution to the closed street. Residents were told they would be informed if this changed in the future.
A portion of the town’s prospect street was closed due to damage caused by flooding in March.
Residents with questions were encouraged to call the town office at (204) 389-2698.
