Gimli Film Festival now accepting volunteers

By Staff/The Interlake Spectator

The Gimli Film Festival is looking for volunteers to help put on its 2017 festival running July 26 to 30.
“If you want to join a devoted team of vibrant, fun-loving film enthusiasts, please consider joining the GFF team as we set out to transform the way people see the world through film,” a news release said.

“As a charitable, not-for-profit, cultural organization, GFF has always depended on the generosity of our diverse team of volunteers. We are grateful for the considerable contributions made by our volunteers every year and know that we could not launch this Festival without their dedication and support,”  it added.

Volunteers can work in a variety of areas including site management, guest services, hospitality, box office, and transportation among other areas.

Volunteers who work for a minimum of 12 hours, will receive a volunteer film pass, a t-shirt, invitation to the opening ceremony and award receptions. They will also be invited to a volunteer windup after the event and have access to a volunteer room during the festival.

Interested candidates can contact  204 642-8846 or for more information.
