With October just around the corner, the fun and scary times are about to return to Six Pines Haunted Attractions.

For the younger ones, not yet into ghouls and ghosts, Six Pines will host Family Fun by Day. There will be a number of interactive venues with actors portraying a variety of characters. They will include Mother Goose and Red Riding Hood. Plus there will be a curtain chaos maze, and the Hocus Pocus Show. Should a youngster feel brave, there is the Famous Barn of Doom, which is geared towards ages 10 years and up.

The Family Fun by Day begins Oct. 8 and continues until Oct. 31, from noon to 5:30 p.m. each day, except Oct. 9. But Six Pines will be open Thanksgiving Day, Oct. 10.

For the really scary stuff, Six Pines will feature three new indoor attractions: the Barn of Doom with the the ThunderRidge Hotel and The Cellar, the Terror Train with The Hood, a story about Red Riding Hood that has gone bad, and carnEvil, which will cause one to fear the clown like never before.

These haunted attractions run from Oct. 7 to Oct. 31, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, plus Oct. 30 and 31.
